Our naturally nourishing hand-crafted beauty bar is scented with a complex, yet beautiful and synergistic blend of Clary Sage, Bergamot and Frankincense Essential Oils. Once you smell this bar, you will be hooked!
The steam-distilled leaves and flowers of the Salvea Sclarea (Clary Sage) plant produce an earthy, herbaceous aroma with a musky hint. It is celebrated as a cleansing and clarifying oil. Also referred to as "The Woman's Oil" this comforting and stimulating extract is reputed to ease pain, calm negative emotions, soothe hormone-related complaints and balance the production of natural oil and sebum.
The cold-pressed fruit peels of the Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) produce a citrusy, yet fruity and sweet with a warm spicy floral aroma. Used cosmetically, Bergamot is reputed to disinfect the skin by preventing the growth of harmful bacteria, relieving cracks on the skin and heels and can help balance skins oil production and reducing the appearance of unwanted marks and scars by evening out the skin tone.
Frankincense Essential Oil is obtained from the dried and distilled resin of the frankincense tree. The aroma of the Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) is resinous, earthy with a slightly fruity/sweet, warm, spicy attitude to it. Cosmetically, this oil may help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin imperfections such as discolouration. It could also help encourage a sense of calm and relieve anxiety.

The brown and cream swirls in our beauty bar not only look gorgeous but adding Moroccan (Rhassoul) Clay makes our bar rich in magnesium and potassium. Magnesium can be absorbed through the skin to fight acne, cleanse impurities and improve skin elasticity. It has such a powerful drawing effect and yet it is an excellent alternative for those with sensitive and oily skin. It provides deep pore cleansing action and revitalises the complexion.

To prolong the life of your bar, place it on a bamboo soap dish after each use to allow the water to drain away. Alternatively, you may pat dry with an organic cotton face cloth and hang it up in our exfoliating pouch away from water!
